Mr. Best is undoubtedly one of the best teachers of web development I have ever had. I find him great for learning because he has this great combination of explaining concepts in simple languages and push boundaries of knowledge. Another very important programming skill that I learned from Mr. Best is asking ‘why?’ He never missed a chance to explain why some code is acting in a particular way. This stimulated my curiosity and is one of the sought after skills of a computer programmer.
I had the pleasure of being taught by Kadeem when I first decided to pursue my degree in I.T. I had no clue as to what I wanted to focus on, so I opted to pursue a general degree in IT. It was only until I took my first programming course with him that I discovered my love for Programming. His teaching style is geared towards the students that he teaches and I could tell that he not only cared that his students passed the course, but that we understand what we were being taught. His passion for Programming was quite evident and he made me feel extremely passionate about learning to code as well.
I was skeptical to jump into a new profession as a student and spend a lot of time and money on something that I wasn’t 100% committed to, but Kadeem confirmed I made the right choice. His hands-on style of teaching alongside his up-beat, friendly attitude worked incredibly well with me. He taught me how to properly code websites with modern techniques to a very high standard. His faith in me as a student and his constant need to make me work harder and better than I was, gave me the confidence in my work that I needed to graduate and jump into the work force as a web developer. Hands down one of the best professors I’ve had.
